Dental Applications is a specialist laboratory concentrating on the preparation of dental implants and restorations for dentists in the UK. Established in 1998, we have gained a reputation for all areas of dental restorations, including dental implants, cosmetic reconstructions, ceramic restorations, and CAD/CAM designed and milled frameworks and abutments. On request, we even restore canine teeth on behalf of vetinary clients!

Equipped with the latest in dental implant technology at our laboratory in Earls Colne, Essex, Dental Applications specialises in the production of dental implant abutments and restorations for our long standing client base. We can if required, consult with your patients at your surgery on request to offer advice and expertise or assist with shade matching.
We specialise in all aspects of CAD/CAM design, from abutments to frameworks in a variety of materials and systems. Our products meet the ISO standards of medical devices ISO13485. Our relationship with industry leading implant providers including Atlantis, GC Europe, Dess and Nobel Procera and has proved very successful in recent years and enables us to accomodate all implant systems.
Where aesthetics is the priority, we recommend all-ceramic restoration. Our ceramic restorations are prepared using IPS e.max materials, with full pressed and layering techniques. Where necessary, zirconia frameworks are used. Our ceramic restorations include Crowns, Onlays, Inlays, Veneers, Bridges, Implant Crowns and more.
To achieve the best result with a ceramic restoration, designs are prepared by hand by our skilled technicians (as opposed to CAD designed)
Where strength and function is paramount, you may prefer to restore with porcelain fused to alloy. We use only the highest quality porcelains with either high palladium or base alloys if preferred.

Tom founded Dental Applications in 1998. Since then he has guided it's steady growth through his values of strict quality standards alongside a helpful approach that includes working closely with dentists to provide information and advice when they need it.
Well known and highly trusted by Dentists across the UK, Tom enjoys a reputation for high standards and loves the fact that most of Dental Applications work comes through customer referral.
Tom is married with two children and (if he ever gets a day off) loves cycling and family holidays in the sun!

Tom's wife Sally leads the Customer Services and Accounts departments. Working alongside Tom since the start, Sally has helped and supported Tom to grow and develop the business over the last 18 years.
As well as looking after their two children, Sally enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dental Technician
Ollie has worked at Dental Applications since leaving school in 2002. He specialises in Dental Implant diagnostics and dental Metal work. He has a strong interest in Prosthetic Dentistry and is always keen to develop his knowledge in this area.
Ollie enjoys spending time with his young family, playing Football and Gaming.

Craig joined the team in 2010, his areas of expertise are Pressable Ceramics and Ceramic Restorations, Metal Sub-structures and Aesthetic Diagnostic work.
Craig enjoys taking long walks with his family and dog, and cycling.
